Scentsy Story
My Scentsy journey began in September of 2014. I was working in a job which, to be honest, was destroying my life. I had recently left a job as a graveyard 911 police/fire dispatcher and was now a Child Abuse Investigator after originally being hired for a completely different position! I was overwhelmed with stress and could feel it slowly creeping into every area of my life. I kept thinking, "This can't be it?! I can't do this forever." I wanted a job I knew I could really enjoy!!!
I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Because of this terrible job I was lucky enough to befriend one of my co-workers who was also selling Scentsy at the office. I took a catalog and her scents home to decide what I wanted to order. It was my birthday and I needed some dang Scentsy in my life!!! After flipping through the catalog and smelling all the amazing fragrances I found myself drawn to the last page of the catalog which explained how to become an Independent Scentsy Consultant. I thought to myself, "Hey, why not? Could be fun, and I love this stuff!" So I took a leap of faith and joined under the assumption that I would simply purchase for myself.
Over the next few months I quickly began to realize what a blessing and huge opportunity Scentsy was. I subsequently was able to quit my job while paying off several bills. Scentsy is, by far, the best decision I have ever made and I have never been happier. I seriously cannot imagine where I would be now, had I never joined. I have always had the desire to be a stay-at-home mom and now that is my reality, with my two sweet girls-whom I get to see every single day! I feel like I am in control of my destiny for the first time in my life, and the personal growth this company provides is out of this world.
As an added bonus, I have made several awesome relationships with my team members and many of my customers as well! Some of my best friends are my Scentsy peeps! My team is steadily growing and each person is 100% awesome sauce! It is an indescribable feeling being able to watch these folks succeed and gain all the blessings Scentsy has to offer. I have aptly named my team Team Choose Your Destiny, because Scentsy provides the ability to do just that, choose your destiny and live the life you want and deserve! I now work from home, have earned several all-expenses paid vacations (so far Disney World, Punta Cana, San Marco Island, Cancun, and a European cruise!), get to travel whenever I want, and no longer feel the overwhelming stress that I had become all too familiar with.
